"ROOM NURSE"

I've watched this video over the weekend as I saw this posted on my news feed in Facebook. A lot of my friends (RNs, underboard or even student nurses) were raging in anger as they share this video. I got curious and watched to know what she really said. And gawd! it got into my nerves!

I was shaking in anger the moment I read the highlight of her statement during the interview..

Grabe! "Hindi naman sila kailangan ganoon kagaling"  as she stated... (or siguro di ko lang na-gets?) but still, sana she used the right words. She's so.....uggggggghhhhhh!!

It helps the people to know the candidates better, so they can choose and vote wisely.

This news circulated on different social networking sites since last Friday until now.  The posts earned negative feedbacks from people especially from nurses; the nursing communtiy. I felt their anger and agreed on some of their comments. But, there are also people who are still in favor of  Mrs. Villar and defending her. This pisses me off! I know everyone has their freedom to express their opinion, but I'm sorry, their comments really pissed me off.

The nerve!!! Nagsalita ang mga walang alam! Susme!

This is my take on their comments. Sana alamin muna nila pinagsasabi nila. The reasons why. Do you even know why nurses grab the caregiver slots just to be employed and get their ass out of this country???? If you'll search it in the internet, madami po ang unemployed nurses dito sa Pilipinas. Isa na din yan sa rason why most of the nursing graduates take their chance in the BPO industry. Mahirap ang buhay dito sa Pilipinas kaya pinapasok nila ang ganung trabaho to earn for a living. We have a lot of hospitals nga dito sa Pilipinas pero most of them, they take nurses for granted! Walang allowance man lang. And in most cases pa, the nurses are the one who's paying the hospitals pa for training. This is too much! Sana lang talaga before they speak against us, please try to put yourself on our situation.

Oh well... Last night, Mrs. Villar sent out her apologies to those people who were hurt by her statement, thru an interview by TV Patrol, especially to the nursing community. She said that she has a high regard to nurses.

Of course, many are not convinced by her apology. Some are still mad at her. As they say, Damage has been done. May lamat na.

I am wondering if she really want this. I mean this, to run as a senatorial candidate. It seems like she's not that ready. (In my opinion) WELL...

My take on her apology: Yes madam, apology accepted! But this incident, I won't forget.

Let's learn to forgive e.. Nurses let's take this as a challenge na lang. Prove them wrong. We  deserve to be better nurses, we also deserve professional growth para maging "Ganun kagaling" to serve our patients well. Everybody deserves to excel on their chosen field, they even deserve respect from others.

People of the Philippines, in this coming election, let's vote wisely. Medyo matagal pa, makakapagisip pa tayo kung sino ba dapat yung iboto natin. Yung more deserving.

I better keep quiet. It's just that this issue pissed me of and made me feel degraded...)
